Finally, I think I'm back!!!

I know the 3 or 4 people who really read this already know what's going on in my life but what the heck!! I can not believe it has been since Nov. that I wrote a post. I have been slacking a lot that's for sure. Why? Well, my life is kind of boring at times. I cant seem to get ahead anywhere right now. I want to scrap but I just can't seem to get motivated! I want to go on a real vacation but, I have not time or money! We had a wonderful Christmas and New Year! Now, that it has passed I'm working harder than ever! I feel like sometimes I'm drowning in paperwork and can't get a break. Don't get me wrong I love my work and I'm so happy I have a job!

We got a new kitten last week. The sweetest kitten in the world. Dexter (we called him) got really sick the first few days we had him. Sad to say he didn't make it. The lesson I have for everyone is to check and make sure where ever you get a new pet make sure there is some type of guarantee of health. Our little guy had a sever virus that I'm guessing happen in between all the shuffling him from shelter to store. It also doesn't help that the weather is so crappy here! We ended up taking to the ER and with such an emotional decision we had to let him go. The doctors gave him a 50/50 chance. As everyone knows, I fall in love with kittens the second I get them. We have had Zea for over a year now and she is the cutest thing ever. She needs a brother and I will soon return to the Human Society and find that special kitten to take care of!!! :)

Wow what a few last weeks! I have been so busy at work (which is really good), Julie and Rudy got married. I had so much fun being right there for her wedding day! I will post just a few pictures.

Finally, I got to do some scrapbooking! My sister had a Scrap Crop with some fun techniques working with paint. Which is so out of my element But had such a good time learning from her! I went over to her house for the evening and scrapped away. I will post those soon.

Now on to the holiday season. I can not believe it is 4 days till Thanksgiving!! Cant wait to eat lots of food and have a wonderful time with family and friends. Also, its been a tradition that we started along time ago with the Hyslops to go over to their house and watch "Christmas Vacation" and any other movies we can fit in! So excited to start the Christmas season with such a fun movie!

Oh and I promise to get back to scrapbooking really soon!! I have lots of ideas in my head just not enough time to do them :)

Chicago!!

Ok, so I have been super busy the last few weeks getting ready for my girlfriends wedding. I'm so excited that she has asked me to be her Matron of Honor. That has come with alot of task that I was so happy to take. The big day is in just about a week in a half. November 14th to be exact! I had to plan the Bachlorette party so we all decided to go to Chicago. We went on Oct. 23rd - 25th. We traveled to Valparaiso, IN. the first night and stayed with Ashley Kusher (Julie's future Sister-in-Law). Had so much fun! Then traveled to Chicago so shop till we dropped. We defiantly shopped till we dropped!!!!!! Then it was off to dinner at Buca De Peppo's. After the we headed to Howl at the Moon. Such a cool place to go to. Here are a few pics from the night.
