Chicago Here We Come!!!!!!!

This weekend I am going to Chicago for Julie's Bachloette Party! Can't wait! We are going to be shopping till we drop!

Sad Day....

Today we had say goodbye to our beloved kitty Ashes. He has been with is for about 15 years. Ashes was diagnosed with Feline Diabetes about 2 years ago. Its been an interesting couple of years. If you don't know by now my husband was diagnosed 6 years ago. So when we found out ashes was diabetic it was a piece of cake to take care of. We knew how to test his sugars on his ears and give him the shots he needed twice a day. His health started to decline in the last 6 months or so. He had lost 2 pounds in a 1 month. We knew he was just not going to get any better. He had a great loving life with us and we will miss him dearly. Oh and I what I will miss the most is him cuddling with me on the couch. He loved to be right by my side as much as he could possibly do. I have posted a couple pics of him. He always loved getting up in the morning running straight to our bathroom to get water from our tub. We never really knew why he liked doing that when he had plenty of water in the kitchen! It was so cute I even got the best picture ever of him with water all over his face!!!

It's Official............

My husband is now on the Insulin Pump. Its been a long time coming for this day. We had a 3hr class this AM. Lots to learn about. He is so gitty about it. Billy has started a blog about his life on the pump. Here is his blog for you to read. We will have pics of his actual pump very soon on his blog page.

Work is a drag sometimes....

It has been a really busy, stressful, ugly week at work. We have so busy it's like its May in Indiana all over again! I love what I do but man its stressful. I called my husband and said I wanted to get away. Just for the day. Away from everyone and everything. So he found a place to go in Kentucky. So WE are heading to Newport Aquarium. Never been there before but I heard its the biggest in the midwest. We cant wait!

Oh and Zea did not bother me at all. Maybe that's why it only took me 20mins instead of 2 hours!! She's been sleeping in the window all day. :)

Love Fridays!

Its cold, rainy and dark here in Indiana. No better time than to stay home with the hubby, eat some yummy chili and watch movies. Now only 10mins left of work and I get to go to that warm home with chili waiting :) The littlest things make me so happy!

Wow...

Really is it October? I have been so busy I don't know where Sept went too!!! I have had the wonderful opportunity to be a Matron of Honer in my girlfriends wedding in November. I have been pretty busy with that. Bridal shower last weekend. I made some cute cupcakes for that. Next is Chicago for the Bachlorette Party. We just can't wait for that. It will be like a mini vacation!
I haven't had the chance to scrap a ALL. Hopefully this weekend will be calm and I can maybe do a couple pages. I"m so bummed I missed my first SAL crop! I'm sure there will be more to come in the near future.
Billy just got an Insulin Pump for his Diabetes. He is so excited to use it. We have to take two classes on the pump so we know what the heck to do. Its supposed to be really cool and alot better for him. We can't wait!!
